Elastilon® is a unique subfloor with a one-sided adhesive layer.
This elastic layer ensures constant adhesion, so that the joins between the floor sections do not show.
Use Elastilon® under a parquet floor so that it remains smooth, without any seams or cracks.
Elastilon® can be used with all types of wooden and laminate suspended floors, regardless of the thickness.
Furthermore, Elastilon® is quick and easy to lay.
Elastilon is a strong elastic underlay that has an elastic one-sided adhesive layer. This specially formulated layer is protected by a plastic tear resistant foil.
Parquet or solid wood should be installed square to the direction of the underlay, after which the protective plastic foil, that is between
the wood and elastic underlay, can be pulled out.
The wooden parts are now tightly and permanently joined to the underlay.
When shrinking or swelling of the floor occurs, there will be no visual seems or gaps.
Tests in America and Denmark have pointed out that the elasticity of
Elastilon is at least guaranteed for 70 years.
The system is (thanks to its elasticity) extremely suitable for wood floors in combination with underfloor heating.
Because Elastilon completely seals the underside of the wood floor against air, the boards will not cup anymore.
